As part of the Private Banking and Investment Advisory (PBIA) division of Edmond de Rothschild, the Head of Investment Solutions and Product will lead the development and local adaptation of the Group's investment architecture in the Spanish branch. This role encompasses coordination with the full spectrum of the Group's global investment capabilities, covering both proprietary and open architecture products. Acting as a strategic link between global product platforms and local business needs, the candidate will support the distribution of investment content, lead the implementation of tailored solutions for UHNWI clients, and ensure optimal connectivity between investment production centers and commercial teams (RMs, SIA, clients).
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate the implementation of the Group's global investment offering — both liquid and illiquid — with a focus on local suitability, clarity and impact in portfolios.
Lead the local Investment Lab, designing bespoke investment proposals, particularly in DPM and Advisory, with additional inputs over Alternative assets.
Translate and adapt Group investment views, market convictions, and structured product offerings into materials and solutions ready for local deployment.
Liaise with the Group's internal investment managers (EdRAM) and external asset managers to ensure timely delivery of information, product updates and cross-border alignment.
Collaborate with the Investment Committee Spain, contributing to the construction of the local advisory and mainly discretionary portfolio book (based in registered funds), aligned with Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation views.
Represent the Spanish market in global product forums and innovation initiatives, acting as the local voice in strategic investment discussions.
Maintain a high-level understanding of market dynamics and economic trends to generate proactive input, investment ideas, and strategic recommendations to the Investment Advisory and RM teams.
Provide robust portfolio diagnostics, health checks, stress tests, and impact simulations to support final investment implementation.
Ensure rigorous quantitative and qualitative follow-up of the investment solutions applied locally, contributing to performance reviews and recurring analysis.
Profile
Strong investment background with an ability to navigate across asset classes, product types and client profiles.
Highly organized, results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and business orientation.
Previous experience in roles that combine investment content, product development and front-line support.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly and persuasively, both internally and externally.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Bloomberg and ideally Python (when applicable).
Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a strong asset.
Academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
Relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, ESG) are a plus.
Professional Experience
Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Private Banking, Asset Management or Wealth Management.
Track record in investment product, investment advisory or DPM-related roles.
Knowledge of the UHNWI segment and capacity to tailor high-value proposals in a multi-jurisdictional context.
