Barcelona Chef Recruitment is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join one of our luxury cruise vessels, starting December 2025 (or earlier).
This is a unique chance to combine leadership, creativity, and integral travel while working alongside some of the best chefs in the industry.
Position Overview:
The Senior Sous Chef plays a key leadership role, supervising 3 different stations (each managed by its own Sous Chef) and reporting directly to the Chef de Cuisine and the Executive Chef.
Key Conditions:
Monthly salary: USD 5,411 (paid while on board)
Schedule: 10 hours per day, 7 days per week
Contract: 4 months on board, followed by 2 months off
Accommodation: Single cabin provided
Flights: Fully covered
Insurance: P&I; while on board, plus company-paid coverage during leave
Requirements:
Preferably prior cruise ship experience
Valid STCW certification
C1/D visa
Seaman’s Book
Valid medical certificate
