Senior Accountant with strong exposure to Accounts Payable processes
to join our team. This role requires a solid accounting foundation, analytical mindset, and the ability to handle AP-related responsibilities with a deeper understanding of accounting principles.
The ideal candidate will go beyond transactional AP tasks and demonstrate experience in
financial analysis, reconciliations, and accounting accuracy, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process vendor invoices ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies
Perform
account reconciliations, including vendor statements and balance sheet accounts
Support
month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Analyze discrepancies and resolve issues related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all AP-related transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to validate budget, purchase orders, and payment approvals
Monitor and manage vendor accounts to prevent delays, duplicates, or errors
Support continuous improvement initiatives in AP and accounting processes
Handle escalations and complex cases with vendors and internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (completed)
5-8+ years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to Accounts Payable
Strong understanding of
accounting principles (US GAAP is a plus)
Experience with:
Journal entries
Account reconciliations
Month-end close processes
Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, GP or similar)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Assessment Requirement

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
Experience in
multinational companies or shared service environments
Experience improving or optimizing accounting/AP processes
