Main Job Objective
* Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting or exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.
* Provide Support to our customers.
* To produce PLC software and / or visualization systems.
* To emulate and test PLC software.
* To interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
* To commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user.
* To produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, test specifications.
* Provide technical guidance.
* To maintain all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, operation and maintenance manuals, and test specifications.

Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in Electrical / Mechatronics / Controls Engineering as a minimum.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Extensive proven hands-on experience working within an industrial automation environment.
* Understanding of PLC development tools (Siemens, Rockwell…)
* Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
* Understanding of design requirements such as Machine Directive and its standards including safety standards.
* Good understanding of distributed control systems.
* Extensive understanding of software testing and emulation.
* Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential.
Special Conditions

* English speaker.
* Willing to learn about all Dematic subsystems.
* Willing to do small R&D topic.
* Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role.
