We are seeking a dynamic Technical Product Owner to join our Integrations organisation. This role involves maintaining a local backlog, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring seamless interactions with the US and BCN based team. The candidate will be responsible for writing user stories and ensuring all project tasks are aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office and the remaining days working remotely.
Key responsibilities
* Acts as a bridge between distributed team members, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment on project objectives.
* Maintains and prioritizes the product backlog, ensuring team objectives are met with high-quality standards and business value is delivered continuously.
* Writes and refines user stories, transforming requirements into actionable tasks for the development team.
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.
* Leads sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint reviews, ensuring clear prioritization and efficient workflow.
* Coordinates with stakeholders to gather feedback, provide regular updates on progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
* Uses JIRA for tracking tasks, managing sprints, and reporting on project progress and performance metrics.
Qualifications
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment, working across multiple time zones.
* A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with strong decision-making capabilities and a focus on driving business value.
* Experience in building product strategy, converting strategy into features, and developing user experience
Nice to have
* Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience in systems within a marketplace environment is desirable.
* Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
