Job OverviewThe Senior Specialist, Affiliate is responsible for launching, building, and operating our business locally. From business strategy to knocking on doors, this is a role for someone who thrives in the field, loves building from zero, and can manage every aspect of the business as a one-person startup, with real influence on commercial strategy, team growth, and market positioning.This role requires Entrepreneurial Mindset – ability to build from scratch, make decisions independently, and take ownership of all aspects of the affiliate, Hands-On Mentality – willing to do everything from sales to invoicing to customer support Commercial Acumen – strong understanding of business, pricing, negotiation, and sales strategy, Field Sales Capability – comfortable pitching door-to-door to clinics and doctors, Operational Excellence – able to manage logistics, finance, stock, invoicing, and payments reliably, Problem-Solving – resourceful, fast-thinking, and solutions-oriented in a startup environment, Customer-Centric – focus on building strong client relationships and handling service issues effectively, Adaptability – comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment, Time & Self-Management – able to structure their own day and responsibilities without close supervision, Basic Financial Literacy – able to handle budgets, forecasts, profit margins, and cash flow.Core Responsibilities: Business Setup & Strategy:Lead the launch of the Spain affiliate from day oneDefine local go-to-market strategy, pricing, and forecastsCreate and execute Spain -specific business plans and budgetsEnsure full compliance with Spain laws, certifications, and operational standardsSales & Business DevelopmentGenerate leads and manage direct sales to clinics and doctorsPitch products in person and build strong long-term client relationshipsIdentify strategic partnerships and KOLs (key opinion leaders)Build and manage sales pipeline and revenue forecastingDaily OperationsOversee orders, logistics, invoicing, payments, and customer supportHandle day-to-day finance: budgeting, reporting, and cost controlEnsure smooth operational flow as a “one-person business” at the startMarketing & Market IntelligencePlan and execute local marketing campaigns and eventsAnalyze competition and trends in the Spain aesthetic marketProvide local insights to the HQ marketing and product teamsTeam BuildingRecruit, train, and manage future sales reps and operational supportDefine team structure and KPIs as the affiliate scalesWhat you'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business administration or a related field.8-10 years' experience in commercial, sales, or operations roles — ideally in aesthetics, pharma, medical devices or beauty industry.Entrepreneurial mindset: hands-on, driven, independentStrong commercial acumen and confidence in client-facing situationsExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsFluent in English, Spanish and other European languages a plusExperience working in a start-up or launch environment is highly valuedMust be based in Spain, with ease of commute to MadridAbility to travel (up to 50+%), predominantly within SpainWhat We Offer:At BioScience GMBH, we combine cutting-edge science with aesthetics to help people look and feel their best.
