This role is key to supporting daily warehouse operations and contributing to the smooth running of logistics processes, ensuring quality standards are met, proper stock control and storage of goods, as well as effective coordination with the wider team and different departments. **RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Receive, check and unload deliveries, ensuring all goods match purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organise and store products correctly, following company procedures and safety standards.
- Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment, including storage areas and equipment.
- Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control to ensure accuracy and minimise discrepancies.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and storage conditions in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely supply of goods and smooth operational flow.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, forklifts if licensed) safely and responsibly.
- Report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures, stock control and goods handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order preparation and stock management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
