We are currently seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Sage's products and systems.
As an SDET at Sage, you will create functional, integration, and end-to-end tests using open-source frameworks to ensure system reliability and overall quality, while collaborating closely with the engineering team.

Responsabilidades principales
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, test cases, and suites for APIs, web applications, databases, and third-party integrations.
* Execute automated and manual tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability prior to release.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.
* Reproduce, debug, and isolate issues, and verify fixes to ensure high-quality releases.
* Work with developers and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to maintain test artifacts and continuously improve quality and testing processes.
Requirements
* Background in software development or as an SDET, with experience developing automated tests using JavaScript.
* Hands-on experience with API testing and working with databases/SQL (Azure SQL preferred).
* Familiarity with testing processes, open-source test frameworks, and automation tools such as Postman, Cypress, or K6/JMeter.
* Knowledge of software design and object-oriented design (OOD) principles, with experience in C#/ ASP.NET Core considered a plus.
* Experience with web development technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, or jQuery, is a plus.
