We’re looking for a creative and culturally fluent Social Media Manager to lead and grow Pokémon GO’s presence across Europe, as well as executing different aspects of our global social media initiatives. This person will drive social growth & engagement, align with local marketing teams to culturalize campaigns, and help shape the global narrative of Pokémon GO across key regional audiences through market-specific activations.

Responsibilities
Lead Pokémon GO’s European social media strategy and execution, managing day-to-day content planning, publishing, and performance tracking for key regional channels.
Collaborate closely with regional teams to define local social goals, align on seasonal priorities, and adapt global strategies to resonate within each market.
Work cross-functionally across global teams, ensuring alignment between Europe priorities and broader Pokémon GO global campaigns.
Build, stage, and launch engaging social media campaigns that celebrate in-game events, community milestones, and new feature releases.
Develop campaign briefs with local market input, ensuring creative direction, tone, and messaging reflect cultural nuances and local Trainer communities.
Oversee asset direction and approval processes with internal teams, regional teams, and external agencies / vendors, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency.
Monitor European and global social trends, particularly those influencing Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences, and translate them into relevant creative executions.
Analyze regional social performance and player sentiment, using insights to optimize content strategies and inform future campaign planning.
Prepare social performance reports in partnership with regional teams, surfacing learnings, recommendations, and best practices.
Contribute to global social workstreams, including excluding creative deliverables to bring to life Pokémon GO’s global creative strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or youth culture in European markets. xpzdshu
