About the role
We are looking for Quality Assurance professionals to support the software verification and validation activities of railway control systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned tasks during the software verification and testing phases.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Define test specifications aligned with functional and safety requirements.
- Develop and execute automated tests, contributing to CI pipelines and automated test execution.
- Collaborate with international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Research and apply new technologies and QA methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Software engineer (Computer science, industrial, telecommunications or similar).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in QA/testing projects.
- Desirable experience in testing automation including scripting and using / configuring tools for automatic testing.
Knowledge
- Configuration management tools such as Subversion, Synergy.
- Automatic testing and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Sonar Qube).
- Requirements and traceability management tools (Doors, Confluence).
- Assembly and maintenance of environments.
- SIL2 development techniques (CENELEC 50128:2011).
- Railway signaling environments.
- Control Centers products.
- AGILE software development methodology (SCRUM) and related tools (Jira, Gitlab, RTC).
- Programming tools for automatic testing.
- Cloud and container architectures, Docker / Kubernetes and related tools.
- Java, Python, or similar languages.
Skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple geographic locations.
- Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Good level of technical English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Motivation to develop research and development work in new technologies.
