F&B Boutique Manager
for our new location at Barcelona Airport Terminal 1, opening July 2026.
This boutique will embody CHANEL’s vision of luxury and deliver an exceptional client experience for travelers from all over the world.
You will play a pivotal role in deploying CHANEL’s retail strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and elevating both the brand image and performance. Supported daily by CHANEL Travel Retail and our partner Avolta, you will oversee all strategic, analytical, and operational retail activities.
What Impact You Can Create At Chanel
Team Management
Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating best-in-class client engagement and selling techniques.
Inspire a strong team spirit and a positive, ambitious working environment.
Ensure the team (5 Beauty Consultants) understands and implements CHANEL’s retail strategy.
Build and lead constructive team briefings, providing regular feedback and following up on performance indicators.
Develop individual action plans (with support from the Learning team) to ensure every team member’s success.
Update and validate team schedules with the Terminal Manager (Avolta), guaranteeing seamless boutique operations.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and fostering a sense of community within the team.
Proactively develop your own skills and knowledge, setting an example for continuous learning.
Business Development
Develop a deep understanding of the Travel Retail environment at Barcelona Airport.
Be a driving force in business growth, adapting actions to various passenger profiles.
Analyze and pilot KPIs, ensuring constant progress and achievement of ambitious targets.
Guarantee correct implementation of client activations, animations, and visual merchandising recommendations.
Ensure boutique procedures and guidelines are respected at all times.
Manage order processes and sales aids in line with CHANEL’s strategy.
Build a healthy partnership with Avolta’s local management.
Work closely with CHANEL & Avolta logistics to manage F&B and Eyewear inventories, and support new launches according to schedule. Make proactive proposals for eyewear orders.
Brand Ambassador
Represent the boutique internally and externally: create synergies with Duty Free Multi-Brand Store.
Foster strong partnerships with all business stakeholders, including Avolta’s operational teams and CHANEL Travel Retail.
What You Will Bring
You have a passion for high-end retail, a deep understanding of luxury brands, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. With approximately 5 years in retail you are driven to curate a personalized shopping experience, building lasting relationships, and overseeing day‑to‑day operations to ensure the boutique runs seamlessly.

Expertise in luxury retail sales and client relationship management
Strong leadership and team management abilities
In-depth knowledge of beauty trends, luxury products, and market insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in inventory management, visual merchandising, and stock control
Ability to create a welcoming and elegant boutique environment
High-level organizational and multitasking skills
Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus)
