We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of planning and executing comprehensive end-to-end testing within our Tax Services team.
As a Senior QA Engineer at Sage, you will lead automation design, analysis, planning, and coordination to support multiple complex initiatives, projects, and systems towards successful delivery.
Note: This role is hybrid and requires working 3 days a week from our Barcelona office.
Responsibilities
* Plan and execute testing approaches across various stages, including rapid, risk-based, exploratory, regression, security, and usability testing.
* Review and maintain existing automation suites to ensure they are optimized, efficient, and maintainable.
* Own the end-to-end testing phase, collaborating with your team and coordinating cross-divisional testing activities when needed.
* Demonstrate leadership by producing clear test metrics, mentoring team members, influencing testing strategies, and providing recommendations.
* Develop a deep understanding of the system under test to support risk assessment, mitigation, and the accurate estimation, creation, and execution of test artifacts.
Requirements
* Strong experience with Selenium and Postman for API testing, along with experience in performance and load testing using JMeter.
* Background in cloud computing, ideally with Azure or AWS.
* Proficient in programming languages such as Ruby, Java, or C#.
* ISTQB Foundation certification (or higher) preferred.
