Cost Controller Role Overview
The Cost Controller position is based at our plant in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing all plant costs, preparing financial forecasts, and identifying areas for improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
* Production Cost Calculation: Determine the cost of production by line and product.
* Plant Cost Control: Monitor and analyze variances, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Inventory Management: Value and control inventories, including rotation, obsolete items, and blocked materials.
* Profitability Analysis: Study profitability by product, customer, and production line.
* Standard Cost Maintenance: Calculate and maintain standard costs.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial closings and periodic reports for the Group.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop monthly projections of results and annual budgets.
* Product Pricing: Collaborate with the sales department to determine product pricing.
* Annual Audit Support: Assist with the annual financial audit, including inventory management.
Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics or similar field.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial company.
* Language Skills: High level of English and Spanish proficiency.

1. Analytical and Financial Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and coordination ability.
2. Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of analytical and financial accounting, as well as company accounting processes.
3. Software Proficiency: Expert user of Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of ERP Oracle and data processing (PowerBI) valued.
4. Soft Skills: High degree of initiative, planning, and organizational skills, with a service-oriented approach towards internal clients.
5. Teamwork: Ability to interact with various company stakeholders and work effectively as part of a team.
