Offer Description
A position is available for a researcher to work on the Mapping Gadir project. Development of a digital platform for the transfer and public communication of the Phoenician heritage of the Bay of Cádiz.
The tasks to be carried out will include, among others, the following: implementation and management of Geographic Information Systems (GIS); digitization and georeferencing of archaeological data from interventions and surveys; photogrammetric surveys of structures, materials, and sites; creation of digital twins of heritage elements using modeling and virtual reconstruction techniques.

Eligibility criteria
Degree in History, Archaeology, or related disciplines.
Official university master's degree in virtual heritage or technologies applied to cultural heritage, with specialized training in virtual archaeology, digital photogrammetry, 3D virtual reconstruction, game engines, and heritage documentation systems.
Official university master's degree in Archaeology, Heritage, or History.
