Revenue Management Senior Analyst
Summary:
This role focuses on ensuring accurate billing processes for Amadeus customers, safeguarding and maximizing company revenues through effective contract implementation from a finance perspective. The position is pivotal in transforming billing and contract fulfilment processes, driving process improvements, and supporting new initiatives. Key responsibilities include producing insightful analytics and KPI reporting, managing customer queries, enhancing collaboration with business partners, and ensuring timely execution of transformation plans. The role also involves improving revenue management KPIs, maintaining and sharing team knowledge, overseeing small project statuses, and ensuring high-quality process documentation and compliance with internal control frameworks. Additionally, the role supports audits by delivering required data and implementing process improvements based on audit findings.
In this role you will:
* Manage large Amadeus Travel agencies from a Finance/ Revenue management perspective ensuring the end-to-end cost and Revenue process is secured.
* Be the main point of contact for Commercial, Controlling and Strategic Finance Teams for a large portfolio of Amadeus Accounts in APAC for revenue and cost related items.
* Ensure Finance Transformation within the OTC project is successfully implemented in Revenue Management.
* Fully accountable for all the processes being transformed correctly within the systems, maintaining the high quality of delivered data, revenues and costs.
* Ensure proper billing, reporting and business control of Amadeus TA/MNAs revenues/costs under his/her team's responsibility and business activity to safeguard and maximize company incomes.
* Lead, develop, implement and enforce Travel Agency Contract Management and Billing policies for all centrally contracted Travel Agencies worldwide.
* Lead customer focused service in case of complex contracts, setting and leading periodical meetings with them to follow-up on billing figures, calculations, reporting and contract conditions.
* Ensure future alignment for Amadeus FSCs, harmonization of processes, strategic initiatives follow up and implementations.
Specific Accountability:
* Define, review and validate requirements for billing.
* Ensure proper billing set-up.
* Control and monitor billing of Amadeus Services & Consulting to ensure correct billing or crediting to Amadeus customers.
* Define, review and validate requirements for reporting.
* Produce billing reports monitoring to provide revenue visibility to the Sales, Product or Programme Management teams.
* Control and monitor billing of products to ensure correct billing (debiting and crediting) to Amadeus Customers and Vendors.
* Identify invoicing deviations (discounts, waivers, contractual status etc.) and obtain proper level of approval.
* Ensure proper revenue recognition adjustments by applying IFRS (Deferred-Revenue, IFRIC 18, Accruals).
* Propose and coordinate potential improvements.
* Agree on billing terms for non-standard contracts prior to signature.
* Ensure and monitor compliance with billing process to develop, implement and enforce a standard Amadeus Billing policy.
* Respond to clients’ ad-hoc requests regarding billing or revenue management.
* Have visibility on related Accounts Receivable.
* Track revenue deviations compared to expected revenues.
* Identify root causes for these deviations (discounts, contractual status...).
About the ideal candidate:
* University Degree in Business Administration and Economics. Any other higher education or certification will be highly valued.
* 5 years of experience in financial and/or administrative fields in a multinational company.
* Good knowledge of Financial Principles, Order-to-Cash, Invoice cycle, and Billing .
* Experience managing projects within a finance department is beneficial for this role.
* Knowledge of Amadeus Business and processes is beneficial.
* Effective communication, influencing, and people coordination, stakeholder management capabilities.
* Very good level of English .
* Strategic thinking and innovative mindset.
* SAP S4 HANA knowledge is beneficial along with other Modules: SOM, R3, etc.
* Specific knowledge of Power BI, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint .
* Demonstrated experience in customer service and stakeholder management.
