Do you enjoy working behind the scenes of a live show? Are you passionate about lighting and show technology in a fast-paced touring environment? For the upcoming Holiday on Ice touring season 2026-2027, we are looking for a skilled and hands-on
Lighting Technician
In this role you are responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of all lighting systems that shape the visual experience of the show. Together with an international touring crew, you contribute to delivering a consistent, high-quality production in every venue.
This role takes you on tour across Belgium, Germany or Austria, France and the Netherlands, working in a dynamic environment where no two venues are the same.
What will you be doing
* Ensure the correct installation of lighting and other electrical show equipment
* Operate the GrandMA2/3 lighting console during rehearsals and live shows
* Maintain, repair and troubleshoot lighting systems, hoists and electrical control systems
* Execute load-ins and load-outs in a timely and efficient manner
* Support the wider technical crew with additional tasks as required
What you bring
* Proven experience as a Lighting Technician in live entertainment or touring productions
* Valid IPAF license (1a, 3a and 3b)
* Ability to maintain, operate and troubleshoot lighting equipment, hand and power tools, and measurement devices (e.g. voltmeters)
* Experience with GrandMA2/3 lighting consoles, including programming and operation
* Good written and verbal English communication skills
* Physically fit (no vertigo or colour blindness)
* Stress-resilient with a hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset
* Availability October 2026 – April 2027
