We are recruiting an Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Literate in SAP and Excel. Fluent in English. Located in Tres Cantos (Madrid).
Base pay range
Our client is a globally leading provider of electric motors and large drive systems. They combine deep technical expertise with leading innovation in electrical solutions across industries and regions. All work will be performed in Tres Cantos.
Description
* Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts regularly.
* Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file necessary returns on time.
* Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
* Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
* Identify areas for process improvement within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in a multinational company.
* Proficiency in accounting software, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
* Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
