Position: IT Technician apprenticeship / CFC or equivalent
* Provide remote (worldwide) and on-site technical support to users and students in Windows and Mac environments.
* Follow best practices and the Service Management framework for IT support.
* Track support needs and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
* Install and upgrade PC hardware and software.
* Support audio and video equipment in classrooms and conference rooms.
* Setup and configure new hardware.
* Maintain hardware inventory and keep it up to date.
* Manage hardware drivers and equipment.
* Coordinate IT repairs with suppliers and inform users.
* Manage purchase orders from request to delivery.
* Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.
* Troubleshoot basic network problems.
* Test updates and patches before deployment.
* Provide training to staff and students, including induction sessions.
