Data Architect role at Horse Powertrain. This role is based at the head office in London, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.

What We’re Looking For
* A proven track record of leading data architecture initiatives for at least 8 years in industrial environments and successfully migrating high-volume databases to cloud-native solutions.
* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Outstanding expertise in Google Cloud Platform (especially BigQuery and data integration) and DevOps practices skills.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset.
* Knowledge of OT systems and how to connect and collect data from plant machinery is essential.
* Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in Spanish or other languages would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Lead data architecture initiatives and drive cloud-native data solutions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and IT to design scalable data architectures.
* Evaluate and migrate high-volume databases to cloud-native platforms while ensuring performance and security.
* Engage with OT systems to connect and collect data from plant machinery.
