Job Description :
An opportunity for a buyer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the buyer area.
Responsibilities
Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tendering and contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements (internal and external).
Monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, ensuring supplier performance in logistics, support, quality, and cost.
Manage daily relationships with suppliers and oversee projects to optimize value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
Participate in multifunctional and multidivisional teams during tendering, contracting, and contract lifecycle phases.
Skills
Education:
Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
At least 3 years in procurement or related area.
Soft Skills:
High adaptability to new topics, business, and networking modes.
Languages:
Advanced English proficiency.
Technical Knowledge:
Programming in C#, advanced CATIA skills.
Valuable/Nice to Have:
Experience in automotive industry;
a master's degree in a relevant field.
