We are currently looking for a Site Manager within our Food Packaging division. The main purpose of this role is management of all operational people/processes & products to meet business demand for the Girona site
**Key tasks and responsibilities**:
Ensure the Health & Safety of employees and visitors at the site and that all KP safety rules are followed
Ensure Best in Class Quality & Service, while obtaining a competitive cost base
Accurate budgetary control, forecasting & management
Continuous improvement of all relevant operations metrics (e.g. Material Balance, Output/ Manhour, OEE%, DPMO,)
Manage multi-disciplined teams including training, discipline, development and morale
Up to 10 direct reports, and high numbers of indirect reports that fluctuate depending on demand
Will influence CAPEX and Divisional strategy as well as business strategy for Rigid segment.
Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas:
Previous experience of Operational Management essential
Technical process skills and understanding of production capabilities
Extensive experience in dealing with worker representatives and the local union
Excellent knowledge of Continuous Improvement Techniques and processes (Six Sigma, Lean, TPM, Total Quality Management)
Highly developed management skills with the capability to manage numerous functions
Solid Financial Understanding
Experience in cooperating with all stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Group Functions,)
Customer focused
**Educational requirements/qualifications and experience**:
Educated to degree level in Engineering or similar
5-10 years relevant management experience in operations
Very good English, further knowledge of European languages is an advantage
