About the role :
As the IT Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests submitted through the Service Desk. You will respond promptly, aiming to resolve issues or escalate them according to the established timescales.

Please note : We have three facilities in the Greater Barcelona area and require someone to be on-site regularly across these sites.
Responsibilities :
* Triaging new requests at the IT Service Desk
* Provide first-line support for all IT Service Desk requests, resolving or escalating as needed
* Attempt to resolve less common requests that are not fully documented but within your authority
* Escalate complex requests or incidents to the IT Service Specialist (II)
* Create draft knowledge base articles from learnings
* Support IT assets hands-on when required
About you :
* Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role is essential; experience in a global organization is advantageous but not required
* Fluent in English and Spanish
* Knowledge and judgment in resolving or escalating a wide range of IT incidents
* Ownership in providing excellent service and enjoyment in problem-solving practical issues
* Flexibility to travel regularly across three sites in the Barcelona region
* Ability to work towards and achieve outcomes within set timescales
* Enjoy teamwork and working independently
* Confident, articulate communicator able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
* A valid driving license is required due to frequent travel between sites
