Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Maritime Works Engineer - Afungi Site
Mission
▪ Perform technical tasks assigned by PSL, related with design, quantities estimation, verification, study for maritime works
▪ Ensure interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and other Departments, Process, Construction, Fabrication and Transport
▪ Prepare technical specification and documentation for steel structure material and maritime equipments requisition and support the procurement dept. in technical evaluations
▪ Coordinate activities performed inside or outside the Company
Tasks
The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Tasks include:
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support
▪ Provide technical suppor t
B-Feasibility
▪ Provide technical support
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
▪ Prepare list of deliverables and develop sketches for studies
▪ Prepare material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs) estimation
▪ Prepa re maritime equipments list and cost estimation
D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
▪ Review Client technical documentation and requirements
▪ Set up and execute assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantity
▪ Prepare sketches for studies and pre-design of maritime works, pursuing objectivies of sound design practice and optimises in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety
▪ Control of subcontracted maritime works engineering documents inside or outside the Company
▪ Set up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimisation in term of costs and fabrication simplicity
▪ Prepare design specifications for reinforced concrete, maritime steel structures, piling, sheet-piles, mooring system works
▪ Develop layout of maritime structures
▪ Prepare material spec. for maritime structures
▪ Liaise with Method Department for set-up of the construction sequence to check maritime structures during temporary phases
▪ Develop studies for maritime and concrete structures
▪ Prepare MTOs and BOQs
▪ Prepare S.O.W. and technical specification for maritime construction subcontracts
▪ Prepare technical documentation for maritime material requisition and assists the procurement dept. in the technical evaluations
▪ Supervise/Approve maritime civil structure design, plot plans of maritime structures and associated piling dwgs issued by Designers and Draftsmen
▪ Implement discipline follow-up activities
▪ Maintain project technical files for maritime structures
▪ Implement field engineering activities
▪ Monitor trend of maritime works quantities with respect to bid
E-Construction and start up
▪ Provide support field engineering at site
RequirementsLanguages: Advanced English Level is a must
2–3 years of offshore experience in the same position.

Requirements
Certificado de Competencia como Capitán hasta 500 GT (mínimo). Certificaciones STCW 2010 vigentes aplicables a remolcadores. Libreta de embarque en vigor. Buen dominio del Ingles y Español (oral y escrito). Sólidos conocimientos de terminología marítima. Residencia en la provincia de Barcelona.
