Job Responsibilities
- Review of customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW.
- Technical contact with the customer supervised by the Development Manager assigned to the project.
- Preparation of HW functional block diagrams: HW architecture.
- Performing calculations and simulations, tolerance studies and analysis, etc.
- Coordination with the purchasing department for component selection.
- Attendance to conferences and meetings with suppliers.
- Detailed design of the electronic schematic, including e-Layout guidelines.
- Collaboration with PCB design team and review of e-Layout designs.
- Assembly, test and analysis of prototypes.
- Collaboration with other departments involved in the project.
- Support to the functional, electrical, EMC and environmental validation team.
- Analysis of warranties or claims of parts in the field.
- Troubleshooting of electronic design problems.
Your Skills & Strengths
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
- At least two years of experience in electronics, hardware and PCB design.
- Experience in the automotive sector will be valued.
- Previous experience with Altium Designer.
- Previous experience with LT Spice.
- Previous experience or knowledge with MathCad.
- Previous experience or knowledge with Mathlab Simulink.
