Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimise procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and value for money.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a seamless supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management
- Confidence leading RFx processes and commercial negotiations
- Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical teams
- A commercial mindset with a focus on cost, value, and risk management
- Experience working in technical or engineering-led environments (highly regarded)
- A proactive approach to improving processes and driving procurement maturity
