Information Systems & Technology Controller at Nissan Motor Corporation is part of Nissan’s technology division. We partner with our business units to solve their problems with technology solutions across a vast geographical area – AMEIO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania). Our work covers logistics operations, ordering and shipping parts, production scheduling, manufacturing, and transportation of cars to dealer networks. We are rapidly moving toward electrification and embracing digital, data, and cloud solutions. We are looking for an IS Controller to join us on this exciting journey.
Your Role
An Information Systems & Technology Controller will be part of technology teams delivering a variety of projects and initiatives in a manufacturing plant. You will work on new technology challenges from a wide range of business areas, providing insight and exposure to various professional avenues while interacting with different cultures. What You'll Do
* Coordinating a team of IS specialists and partner suppliers, delivering and supporting critical and highly available application services to the entire manufacturing plant.
* Technology Delivery Management – ensuring quality, cost and time constraints always remain a priority, whether using agile or waterfall techniques.
* Applying robust quality assurance to deliverables and identifying new technology opportunities, driven by a strong interest in technology and its architecture.
* Engaging business counterparts to identify problems and opportunities that can be solved with technology solutions (Analysis & Requirements Gathering).
* Collaborating with colleagues across our technology teams (software engineering, infrastructure, information security, enterprise integration).
* Continuously learning – staying updated on new technology, delivery techniques, and business knowledge.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
* At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within a technical environment.
* Must have or expect to achieve a 2.1 in an IT, computing or technology related discipline.
* Strong technical foundation with hands‑on experience – not just project management.
* Demonstrable passion for technology, innovation and learning.
* Understanding of the latest systems delivery methods, including development tools, infrastructure, techniques, frameworks and approaches.
* Knowledge of project management techniques.
* Pragmatic problem‑solving approach, with the ability to make decisions and take measured risks quickly.
* Strong communication skills enabling work in a cross‑functional and diverse environment.
* Strong analytical skills and data‑driven thinking.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and high‑pressure situations.
* Flexibility to travel, as required.
* Permission to live and work in Spain without restriction at the time of hire.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
