Join Liebherr, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing, as we advance our digital transformation journey. We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4HANA Stream Lead Change & Release Management (m/f/d) to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid.
In this role, you will lead the Change & Release Management stream of our global greenfield S/4HANA program, taking ownership of release strategy, change governance, and lifecycle management. You will define and implement best practices for ChaRM, transport management, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality and stability across multiple deployment waves.

The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office. We operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site.
Creating passion: your responsibilities
* Own the Change & Release Management stream within the global S/4HANA program, defining the release strategy, coordinating with project leadership, and ensuring alignment with overall governance.
* Manage all change and release processes across project and maintenance landscapes, including monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance with release governance standards.
* Lead the design and continuous improvement of change and release processes, covering ChaRM, retrofit handling, dual landscapes (\"project line\" and \"maintenance line\"), and integration with SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
* Ensure end-to-end lifecycle management across project and maintenance streams, addressing dependencies between functional and technical teams and safeguarding release integrity.
* Define and enforce standards for transport management (CTS+, gCTS), retrofit, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring release quality and auditability
* Build a high-performing change & release governance team, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability in a multicultural project environment.
* Contribute to change management activities, ensuring adoption of new processes and S/4HANA solutions.
* Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
* You are an experienced leader with a degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Your deep expertise in SAP Change & Release Management and strong leadership skills enable you to drive governance and quality in complex S/4HANA programs
* 7+ years of professional experience in SAP programs, with proven experience in S/4HANA greenfield projects and leadership in change/release management streams.
* Proven expertise with SAP Solution Manager ChaRM and/or SAP Cloud ALM, CTS+/gCTS transport management, retrofit handling, and test automation integration (e.g., Tricentis). Knowledge of authorization concepts and ABAP transport impacts is a strong plus.
* Strong background in release planning, dependency management, and risk assessment, with the ability to align technical and business priorities. Experience with Jira/Confluence for governance and backlog tracking.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
* Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
