About this role: In the past 3 years, the Grocery & Retail Strategic Accounts team has become an essential part of our ES strategic objectives. We've forged impactful partnerships with leading brands, onboarding thousands of grocery sites nationwide. As a Senior Manager, you will be instrumental in consolidating and expanding this vertical in Spain. You will lead a robust commercial team of approximately 14 professionals to manage and grow our partnerships with the country's top grocery and retail players. We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical leader, someone capable of managing high-level relationships and driving growth through innovative value propositions. Highly valuable experience on e-commerce platforms is a significant plus. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Team Leadership: Manage, inspire, and motivate a large team of Strategic Account Managers, setting clear goals and providing the mentorship necessary to ensure a high-performance environment. Strategic Management: Take full ownership of the strategic relationship with key branded partners in grocery and retail, driving growth while identifying opportunities and mitigating risks. Acquisition & Expansion Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end acquisition strategy for new strategic partners while driving the footprint expansion of our existing portfolio across Spain. Business Planning: Lead the annual business plan for major partners, collaborating with the Head of Strategic Accounts to align goals with the global functional strategy. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate monthly and quarterly performance reviews with strategic partners and collaborate internally with Tech, Product, and Marketing departments to develop new capabilities. Market Insight: Develop a deep understanding of the retail and quick-commerce sector to propose cutting-edge strategies. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Proven Commercial Leadership: Extensive experience in sales, business development, or account management (ideally FMCG/Retail/Tech), with a solid track record of leading large teams and managing high-level commercial negotiations. E-commerce Expertise: Highly valuable experience on e-commerce or quick-commerce platforms, understanding the digital consumer journey and platform dynamics. Analytical & Strategic Mindset: A strong "numerical mentality" with the ability to translate complex data and market insights into actionable growth strategies. Financial & Technical Savvy : Comfortable managing P&L; to optimize profitability and possessing enough "tech-fluency" to lead complex client rollouts and troubleshoot integrations with Product teams. Influential Communicator: Exceptional ability to present to and influence C-level external stakeholders and internal global teams. Full fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
