Key Responsibilities: Manage Trade Finance Operations: Oversee and execute various trade finance activities, including the processing of Letters of Credit (LCs). Structure and Process LCs: Work with different types of Letters of Credit, ensuring they are structured correctly and processed efficiently according to established rules and requirements. Handle Financial Flow Management: Monitor and manage the financial aspects of trade transactions, ensuring smooth payment flows and adherence to financial guidelines. Bank Communication: Act as a key contact with banks and financial institutions, handling inquiries, coordinating documentation, and supporting overall banking relationships related to trade finance. Review Logistics Documents: Examine and verify international shipping and logistics documents, particularly Bills of Lading (B/L), to ensure accuracy and compliance with trade agreements. Ensure Compliance: Help ensure all trade finance activities follow relevant international regulations, company policies, and best practices. Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, logistics, finance) and external partners (e.g., clients, suppliers) to ensure timely and effective execution of trade transactions. Maintain Records: Keep accurate and organized records of all trade finance activities and related documentation. We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, Finance, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field. Trade Finance Experience: Experience working with trade finance instruments, particularly Letters of Credit (LCs). Financial Acumen: Practical experience in managing financial aspects of trade, including understanding payment terms and working with financial institutions. Banking Contact Experience: Proven ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with banks and financial partners. Logistics Document Knowledge: Familiarity with key international shipping documents, especially Bills of Lading (B/L), and how they relate to trade transactions. Regulatory Awareness: Basic understanding of international trade rules and practices (e.g., UCP, Incoterms). Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing documents and managing processes. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
