Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Email Specialist to join our Player Engagement team overseeing Canada, Iberia, Greece and Latin America. Reporting to the Head of CRM Automation, this Specialist will research best practices in email and communications design, drive their implementation across our regional CRM teams and oversee their correct delivery & engagement with our players.
This Specialist will also partner with the regional CRM teams to guide them in the weekly creation of industry-leading communications and will be responsible to stay in touch with the latest communication innovations in the industry – finding ways to implement them at Entain CRM.
Clarification: The role of this professional will not involve copywriting or weekly comms execution – but will be responsible for enabling the teams responsible for those activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ready-to-use email templates for all CRM teams to quickly adapt and use in weekly campaigns, coaching said teams in how to best use them to full potential
- Ensure templates are properly tested in various channels (mobile, web view) and various email clients to ensure defect-free execution
- Propose and A/B test innovations, additional modules, etc. to our written communications to help drive increased deliverability and conversion – later incorporating them in templates for BAU use
- Collaborate with Optimove team (Entain’s CRM system) to understand and test all the personalization tools and elements that we can use in our communications to keep the content relevant for each of our customers.
- Conduct analysis on past campaigns to understand drivers of engagement and build execution plans based on learnings
- Monitor BAU efficiency of all email delivered campaigns, identifying deliverability and conversion issues as soon as they start happening and coordinating remediation activities
- When required by urgent business needs, directly support CRM execution teams in the creation of quick customer email reach outs
- Collaborate with Entain’s creative teams in the development and design of specific visual assets to enhance CRM’s written communications
- Act as CRM’s Optimail Subject Matter Expert and serve as team advisor for complex email projects and issues
