Job Summary
This role is responsible for creating cost-effective and high-quality solutions by applying foundational principles, theories, and concepts of a specific function. The role involves driving cross-functional activities related to component, supplier, and product qualifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with various stakeholders. Building relationships with internal and external partners to streamline product development and manufacturing is also essential.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
* Manage cross-functional tasks and schedules for component, supplier, and product qualifications.
* Perform testing and troubleshooting to debug defective units, sub-assemblies, and process steps based on established plans; validate testing parameters and document results.
* Apply specified changes to products or processes to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
* Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams to initiate design improvements and documentations for continuous enhancement.
* Develop understanding of relationships with internal and outsourced partners involved in product development and manufacturing.
* Support projects through research and data analysis, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
* Assist in priority projects, maintain stakeholder relationships, and share information via standardized reports.
* Complete all required product training and recommend additional training opportunities to enhance skills and organizational value.
Education & Experience
* A four-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence.
* Typically 0-2 years of experience, preferably in product design & development or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
* Familiarity with Agile Methodology, API, Automation, Data Analysis, Product Development, and related areas.
Cross-Organizational Skills
* Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer-centricity.
