Role and Reponsabilities
Main function: The Partner Account Manager plans and implements sales to targeted strategic partners in Enterprise (Non Public sector) with main focus in the Manufacturing, Automotive and Field service sectors. Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential to be successful in this role (with end customers and with partners). Having a good understanding of the full range of the Toughbook product portfolio and about the cross-business sales opportunities. The PAM will challenge the customer to discover their future business needs and offer total solutions by utilizing all the material and human resources that we have to support him/her. The PAM will train the partners on the Panasonic Toughbook solutions and will establish trust relationships. The PAM will work closely with the internal resources to ensure projects are delivered to the full satisfaction of the customers and partners. There will be some opportunities to do a KAM role when dealing with big Enterprise companies with which we need to have a direct contact.
1. Implements and drives the overall business and sales strategy, for defined key partners and customers in a vertical market.
2. Analyses the market environment (demand, competition,) manages sales pipeline, plans the customer and sales targets, and agrees on action steps
3. Prepares and maintains business plan and forecasts, and provides regular sales and revenue reports to management,
4. Establishes, maintains and grows customer relationships and manages the network with decisive stakeholders.
5. Prepares leads and negotiates proposals, and drives follow-up and closing of contracts.
6. Coordinates and involves technical support, marketing services or channel partners in the lead process.
7. May initiate product developments and services programs or measures.
8. Initiates, cooperates in and supports vertical related marketing activities, promos, events, fairs, etc...
9. Liaise with Credit Control to ensure channel purchasing ability remains clear
Requirements
10. Relevant University Degree or equivalent practical and vocational knowledge and experience
11. 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in the field
12. Strong command of the English language.
13. Italian language command will be very positive, as Italy is part of our Southern Europe Team
14. Proficient understanding and know how in processes, technologies, products or other relevant field of expertise
15. Effective utilization of recognized planning, analytical or conceptual principles and techniques
16. Understanding and applying principles of effective project management
17. Ability to apply financial or technical data knowledge to provide sound analyses in order to drive results significantly and support respective management decision
18. Understands impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function
19. Challenger approach
20. Experience in Business and Account Development in B2B is essential
21. Very strong communication and negotiation skills, hunter mentality
22. Excellent understanding of TCO and ROI to sell based around value
23. Strong knowledge of the Professional Channel in Spain.
