Senior Engineering Manager
We are looking for a new coworker to join us in this multidisciplinary role in the manufacturing areas of the plant at Granollers!
Responsibilities
As our Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing engineering and installation projects within the Engineering department, ensuring health, safety, and environmental variables are integrated into engineering management. You will also communicate the specific scorecard to the teams and organization. Your main focus includes:
* Establishing the foundation for project management.
* Controlling, prioritizing, and forecasting plant CAPEX.
* Developing and following procedures for CAPEX prioritization.
* Creating global engineering project practices and guidelines.
* Ensuring health, safety, and environment are integrated into engineering practices.
* Creating standard CQV procedures and integrating them into project procedures.
* Identifying engineering management synergies in the plant and proposing methods to leverage them.
* Leading and participating in multidisciplinary problem-solving groups, and promoting problem-solving techniques organization-wide.
* Training technicians in established project management procedures.
* Representing the Engineering department in the absence of the Engineering Director.
* Developing activities related to resource, energy, and plant supply savings.
* Participating in FMEA analyses for new initiatives, anticipating issues during the change parts design phase.
* Analyzing machinability for new product proposals and suggesting line allocations.
* Supporting the innovation team in change parts design and validation.
* Analyzing and counteracting incidents during testing and commissioning phases of different formats.
* Ensuring on-time execution of tasks during LT & CR phases.
* Owning actions from FMEA, LT, or CR processes.
* Creating training packages and conducting sessions to ensure operational team performance on the line.
* Designing and implementing solutions to improve operations or enhance machine capabilities.
* Participating in designing or improving production line layouts as required.

You enjoy managing multidisciplinary projects and teams. As an experienced Engineering Manager, you are methodical, supportive, and energized by working in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Additionally, you:
* Hold an engineering degree (Industrial, Design, or Mechanical).
* Have demonstrated deep technical expertise in equipment across all site processes, with production experience highly valued, especially in industries like food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or chemicals.
* Are proficient in Inventor, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
* Have a comprehensive understanding of both bulk manufacturing and filling operations, including processes, equipment, and utilities in the PU.
* Know QA and GCM guidelines in manufacturing environments.
* Have experience in industrialization processes for new formulas/products.
* Possess knowledge of RM & TQM fundamentals.
* Are familiar with financial aspects such as investment analysis, project cost control, and activity management.
* Have a good command of English and Spanish.
