Health & Safety Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Joint Prevention Service
2. Develop and implement Amadeus' Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Policy and Prevention Plans;
3. Execute initiatives from the annual health and safety plan and ensure compliance through periodic audits;
4. Provide employees with health and safety training and raise awareness about healthy workplace habits;
5. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor strategic goals;
6. Update health and safety processes and procedures with the Building and Facilities team;
7. Manage contracts and invoices for health and safety services (e.g., external prevention, medical service, emergency equipment).
1. Health Surveillance
2. Organize initial and periodic health checks with external prevention services;
3. Support employees with occupational health queries;
4. Implement health campaigns (e.g., visual health, cardiovascular screenings, flu vaccinations);
5. Analyze health check records to identify trends and recommend improvements.
1. Workplace Safety
2. Conduct internal workplace risk assessments and implement preventive measures;
3. Coordinate psychosocial risk assessments and collaborate to address issues;
4. Perform health and safety inspections and monitor workplace environmental conditions;
5. Manage work-related accidents, including investigation and reporting;
6. Oversee emergency management, updating Emergency Plans, coordinating emergency teams, and participating in drills;
7. Act as the local contact for BeSafe, coordinating emergency communication and annual tests.
1. Health & Safety Strategy for Spain & Portugal
2. Integrate health and safety into the organization, working with local health and safety committees and business partners;
3. Identify synergies to improve efficiency across Spain and Portugal;
4. Lead the Health and Safety team, ensuring task execution, team alignment, and professional development.
About the ideal candidate:
1. Master’s degree in occupational health and safety;
2. At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position;
3. Team management experience;
4. English proficiency;
5. Experience in a corporate workplace environment;
6. Great communication skills;
7. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint;
8. Experience with Forms, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps is a plus.
