Description
Field Engineer will be involved in very early evaluations of our prototypes and hardware systems on different wireless technologies, including performance metrics creation, evolution, post‑processing, and analysis of trace logs from the field. It also includes running focused experiments related to RF/OTA performance, acoustics, thermals, GPS validation, etc. The successful candidate will work with several multi‑functional teams and perform deep‑dive analysis into internal logs to understand and identify the root cause of any hardware or software system issues.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering
* Live network test experience with the ability to identify specific test scenarios
* Solid understanding with practical experience in wireless technologies (LTE/5G)
Preferred Qualifications
* Good interpersonal and proven written/verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented, analytic, proactive, able to work independently, and committed to getting things right
* Comfortable with working on hardware and in supporting engineering to debug and reproduce hard‑to‑reproduce issues
* Basic understanding of mobile network infrastructures
* Able to travel locally and internationally
