Job Description:
The Berklee Valencia Summer Programs Department is seeking 4 Program Assistants to provide student, programmatic, and logistical support for three summer programs.
Employment Dates: July 8 - August 1, 2025 (must be available for all 4 weeks)
Program Dates:
* Berklee Valencia Contemporary Arts and Music Program (BV-CAMP - Youth): July 14-18, 2025
* Music Production Summer Program: July 14-18, 2025
* Spain Summer Performance Program: July 21 - August 1, 2025
Position Type: Full-time, temporary
Eligibility Requirements:
* Berklee Valencia alumni, including recent graduates from July 2025
* Legal ability to work in Europe/Spain
* Proficiency in English
* Resident in Valencia and able to work in person
* Responsible for securing own housing
Additional qualities include being outgoing, dynamic, team-oriented, flexible, reliable, and organized. Preference for applicants with performance or production experience, ability to play instruments, or experience with lights and sound. Former participants of the Spain Summer Performance Program and Spanish speakers are also preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist with program preparation one week prior to start
* Manage a cohort of participants across various ages
* Serve as the first point of contact for participants and families
* Plan and lead extracurricular activities, such as jam sessions, open mic nights, or Spanish language circles
* Support faculty in classroom and logistical tasks, including curricular support for classes, activities, and performances
* Additional training or documentation may be required
* Some evening work may be necessary
