The Opportunity Responsible for sales targets for Automation and Communication Systems and executing sales strategies within the railway sector, managing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong relationship‐building skills and the ability to lead sales initiatives across regions.
How You Will Make An Impact Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, presales and forecasting.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the railway segment.
Lead cross‐functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.
Manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders such as railway authorities, OEMs, system integrators and contractors to ensure long‐term partnerships.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to implement market strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, engineering) to align offerings with market demand.
Your background Engineering background with at least 5+ years sales experience in B2B Sales preferably within the railway or transportation segment.
Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation.
Strong understanding of railway systems, infrastructure and procurement processes.
Result‐oriented, customer‐focused with strong interpersonal skills.
Self‐driven with strong initiative, a team player with ability to manage external and internal stakeholders.
Willingness to travel and manage relationships across regions.
Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership.
