Senior Business Analyst (Commercial Insurance)
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join Zurich’s Commercial Insurance environment. This role requires a highly autonomous, structured, and business-oriented professional who can operate effectively in a complex, evolving landscape.
Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, building strong relationships across underwriting, operations, distribution, and other commercial insurance functions
Proactively identify business needs, inefficiencies, and opportunities, even when requirements are not clearly defined
Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation (workshops, interviews, document analysis)
Impact and gap analysis
Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation (business requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria)
Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT delivery, working closely with product owners, developers, architects, and testers
Support solution design by validating that proposed solutions meet Zurich’s business, regulatory, and operational needs
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within commercial insurance or financial services
Strong understanding of insurance business concepts, such as underwriting, policy lifecycle, pricing, claims, or distribution
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging both business and technical audiences
Nice to have: experience with Salesforce or Salesforce‑based insurance platforms (e.G., CRM, policy or distribution solutions)
Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
Familiarity with data‑driven analysis, reporting, or integration‑heavy environments
