Overview
Edged Spain-Portugal offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to innovative data center infrastructure projects. As a Regional OCC Operator, you will work closely with our Regional Service Manager and Regional Program Manager, providing remote assistance to data centers, supporting users, and ensuring quality support documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor OCC systems to identify infrastructure and service issues for escalation.
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support through management of incidents and service requests via Service Desk tickets.
* Ensure timely resolution of tickets within SLA targets and document all communications.
* Create and update knowledgebase articles for the Service Desk.
* Support end-users remotely and on-site, providing training and advice.
* Report security infractions or breaches to 3rd line support.
* Contribute feedback to improve Service Desk processes and design.
* Work on a 24 / 7 schedule from the Getafe office.
Skills & Requirements
* Experience in Help Desk support, preferably in an ITIL environment.
* Knowledge of networking, cloud services, LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, Wi-Fi, switches, and patching.
* Previous experience as an IT technician or support role, with familiarity with monitoring systems.
* Qualifications such as CompTIA, MCP, ITIL, or a relevant college / university degree.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, organized, and self-managed.
* Knowledge of BMS, security access, and data center infrastructure is a plus.
