Position: Apparel Developer
As an Apparel Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of products from a technical perspective, enhancing quality according to standards and legislation, and ensuring product compliance.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Send documentation to suppliers to ensure product launch and follow-up, guaranteeing deadlines are met.
* Manage product development and sample approval (fill out technical sheets, evaluate raw materials, accessories, measurements, and other specific details), ensuring necessary modifications and improvements are made with the supplier, and providing technical solutions if difficulties arise.
* Closely monitor orders and production plans, ensuring compliance with deadlines, procedures, and quality requirements.
* Collaborate closely with design, purchasing, quality, logistics, and import departments.
* Define target prices, negotiate, select suppliers, send documentation, place orders, and manage delivery timelines.
* Analyze competitors and conduct benchmarking.
* Identify new opportunities to expand or renew the product range.
* Collaborate with our office in China for close management with suppliers, problem resolution, and process or product improvements.
* Support the area coordinator by ensuring factories and suppliers follow our instructions and needs, adhere to standards and deadlines, and provide weekly feedback on each supplier's status and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
* Training in Pattern Making, Sewing, and Textile Design (Higher Vocational Training, CFGS, or similar).
* Knowledge of production stages in textiles, footwear, or accessories.
* Advanced level of Excel.
