Associate Director, Regional Field Manager, Spain
Join BeOne Medicines, formerly BeiGene, Ltd., a rapidly growing company in the fight against cancer. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our regional team in Spain.
General Description
Under the direction of the National Field Director Spain & Portugal, this role involves maximizing the performance of BeiGene’s products in Spain, implementing marketing and sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and coaching the commercial team.
Responsibilities
1. Build brand awareness for BeiGene and its products in the hemato-oncology market.
2. Establish relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), study groups, and key accounts.
3. Prepare the market for product approvals and implement marketing strategies for launches.
4. Build and structure a competent commercial field team in Spain.
5. Achieve regional sales goals and monitor performance metrics.
6. Plan and monitor regional budgets.
7. Define sales goals, analyze market performance, and identify developmental needs of team members for training and coaching.
8. Provide scientific support to KOLs in hospitals.
9. Collaborate with other departments for alignment and keep management informed of market changes.
10. Supervise key account plans and collaborate with market access teams.
11. Participate in scientific meetings and workshops.
12. Establish relationships with customers and stakeholders in hematology and oncology.
13. Drive business decisions with a focus on patient care.
14. Ensure team compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
15. Provide leadership fostering high performance, engagement, and alignment with BeiGene values.
Qualifications
* Scientific education and experience, preferably with a life science degree.
* Over 5 years of qualified experience as a commercial team leader in hemato-oncology.
* Success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
* Specific knowledge of the hemato-oncology market and proven supervision of commercial teams.
* Strong social skills, motivation, and solution-oriented attitude.
* Excellent communication and thought leadership skills.
* Expertise in Hemato-Oncology and reliable contacts with hematologists and opinion leaders.
* Good command of English and computer skills;
valid driver’s license.
Education & Experience
* University degree in science or business.
* At least 10 years of industry experience.
Management & Skills
* Manage the local/regional sales team, including hiring, supervising, and development.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Fluency in English and the local language;
additional European languages are advantageous.
* Travel approximately 60% of the time.
