Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure a waiter oversees the administrative tasks and takes all orders. You will be confident and show natural leadership capability. Seat guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers. Maintain an accurate waiting list as needed. Alert guests when the table is available. Give correct change, and balance cash drawer at the close of shift. Complete all opening/closing paperwork, and document voids on the void balance sheet. Make sure credit cards are handled securely. Working with the other departments, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue. Highlight promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value. May practice up-selling and cross-selling techniques to increase revenue. Responsible Business Responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to our guests. May process take-out orders. May answer room service phone and process room service orders. May routinely clear and reset tables and assist with opening tasks such as assigning stations to servers. Manage open table reservations. May be asked to handle guest complaints and special requests.Requisitos : Higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or Related Field 2+ years related experience, 5-star luxury experience is a must Fluent in English and Spanish any other languages would be great. Oracle MICROS knowledge will be highly valuable. Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays.
