Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead Network Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure & Network Services (ENS) team for a 12-month engagement. The consultant must be based in Europe, fluent in English, and capable of working in alignment with European business hours. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in infrastructure and network support, incident leadership, and capacity/release management.
Key Responsibilities
Ticket / Task Management
- Work through backlog of open incidents and service requests.
- Monitor and manage daily ticket queues, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Support and handle Major Incidents in collaboration with internal teams.
- Communicate proactively with IT teams, stakeholders, and customers regarding updates and ticket statuses.
Release & Capacity Management
- Lead coordination and facilitation efforts for releases alongside ENS peers.
- Analyze capacity data and support data-driven decision-making.
Data, Metrics & Reporting
- Generate and support various reports related to incidents, capacity, and performance.
- Collaborate with Service Managers on reporting and metric evaluations.
Technical & Leadership
- Provide technical leadership, especially in Incident and Problem Management scenarios.
- Actively engage in technical discussions with teams and stakeholders.
- Lead investigations and drive resolution for complex network and infrastructure issues.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network/infrastructure roles.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proven experience in ITIL-based IT Service Management environments.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, diagnostics, and incident response.
- Experience working in global enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in dynamic environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
