What You Will Do
As a Senior Outsystems ODC Consultant Developer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design and develop scalable applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Define and implement architecture solutions for complex business needs.
- Lead development teams and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security standards.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Advise clients on OutSystems capabilities, best practices, and solution strategies.
- Integrate applications with external systems and services.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of OutSystems applications.
- Support project planning with technical estimations and risk assessments.
- Stay current with platform updates and contribute to continuous improvement.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We are not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world. If you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a strong fit for our team:
- Education in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing functional and technical specifications and implementing Information Systems;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience on the Outsystems platform and in-depth knowledge of the platform;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Outsystems Developer Cloud (ODC);
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns and software architecture, and development of responsive design solutions;
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX development techniques;
- Proficient knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery or other JavaScript libraries;
- Autonomous programmer in MS .Net, specifically C#;
- Experience in XML, XSLT, XSD, and XQuery;
- Good knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server);
- Commitment to code quality and experience in testing practices.
Nice to have
- Experience in the insurance market;
- DB2 knowledge;
- Outsystems "Professional Developer" certification;
- Experience or knowledge in native iOS and/or Android development;
- Any other knowledge or additional experience in information technologies;
- Fluent English and Portuguese (nice to have).
