The Account Executive role

We are growing our Sales team and hiring for an Account Executive ideally in Barcelona or Madrid who will be primarily responsible for engaging with prospects to turn them into happy Alan customers.

What is important for us is the mission: as an Account Executive, supported by BDRs, you will find leads, understand the needs of our prospects, present our product, drive sales and manage key customer relationships until they sign the contract. You will understand, embrace and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method to make the prospect experience pleasant, instructive and delightful. You will leverage relevant messaging and materials (Smart) and define a high-touch strategy that suits each prospect (Soft).

You will look at the big picture and help us grow and improve as a company. You’ll be a team player beyond your role, and may be involved in other projects and initiatives related to growing our customer base. For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B0-C1 level range.

Responsibilities
* Engage with prospects to turn them into customers and manage relationships through contract signing.
* Find leads, understand prospect needs, present the product, and drive sales.
* Apply the Smart & Soft selling approach to create a high-quality prospect experience.
* Collaborate with BDRs and cross-functional teams to grow the customer base.
* Be a team player, challenge the product and strategy constructively, and participate in relevant initiatives.
Qualifications
* 2-3 years of previous experience in a Sales role
* Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish
* Ideally B2B sales experience, preferably with a SaaS company
* Ability to create a high-touch strategy adapted to each prospect
* Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills
* Humility in learning from others and being challenged on actions
* Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
* Willingness to go the extra mile
* Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
* Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
* Great attitude and ability to collaborate in a small team
* Desire to learn fast and make an impact from day 1
* Experience challenging others to improve product and strategy constructively
* Interest in being involved in other projects and initiatives to grow the customer base
