- *Logistics Technician - APM Railway – Barcelona (Paseo de Gracia)**
\n## **About the Role**\n
At **APM Railway**, we are looking for a **Logistics Technician** to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring container transport by **rail and road**, ensuring that daily logistics flows run smoothly and efficiently. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where real‑time decision making, ownership, and problem‑solving are key to success.

## **Key Responsibilities**
\n
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor **daily rail and trucking operations** .
- Manage and optimize **container flows** between terminals, depots, and customer distribution centers.
- Track transport performance and **resolve operational issues** such as delays, capacity shortages, or service disruptions.
- Communicate daily with terminals, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service reliability.
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes and resource optimization.
- Maintain accurate operational data and documentation, ensuring full visibility of cargo movements.
\n## **Requirements**\n
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain (ideally in **container or intermodal operations** ).
- Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable interacting daily with customers, suppliers, and operational teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain effective in fast‑changing environments.
- Strong **Excel** and data handling skills.
- **Fluent English** (spoken and written).
\n## **Nice to Have**\n
- Experience in **rail logistics**, intermodal operations, or transport management systems (TMS).
- Previous experience with container terminals or multimodal transport providers.
