Job Title Technical Consultant, Patient Care Informatics (PCI) – Castilla y León Job Description Technical Consultant, Patient Care Informatics (PCI) – Castilla y León As a Technical Consultant, you will provide technical support for Philips solutions, including installations, upgrades, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and related activities at customer sites across Castilla y León locations. Your role: You will be primarily supporting Castilla y León region Provide remote and on-site technical support to implementation and project teams. Work closely with Healthcare Information Systems implementation teams during deployment and post go-live, including integration activities, third-party device connectivity, and data exploitation. Act as technical lead for small to medium implementations, managing technical escalations and ensuring timely resolution. Perform remote monitoring, manage alerts, open incident tickets, and drive incident resolution while maintaining clear customer communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with Philips work practices and health & safety guidelines. You're the right fit if: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or Biomedical Engineering (or other equivalent field) and have over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role You hold a valid driving license required, with the ability and willingness to travel across the Castilla y León area You have experience with healthcare IT products and strong knowledge of integration standards and technologies such as HL7, FHIR, web services, and related interoperability concepts You have experience working with Oracle and/or SQL databases, Windows operating systems, and remote support tools You are a fluent Spanish speaker with a good level of English You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt as products evolve You are proactive, detail-oriented, eager to collaborate, and motivated to help improve customer environments through technical insight and optimization. Preferred Knowledge of SACYL health-sector systems and solutions is highly valued Knowledge of health-sector systems and solutions within SERMAS is valued Additional languages besides Spanish and English will be considered a plus You have experience with product installation & troubleshooting and IT networking Experience with healthcare product installation (particularly in critical patient care and electronic health record systems), network diagnosis, system connectivity, and remote service within engineering/medical devices will be an advantage. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is a field role. This role is not open to a relocation.
