Business Development Manager
Report to: Global Business Development Head
We are seeking two highly organized, proactive, and strategic Business Development Manager to support the executives of the Company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing business deals, business development initiatives, and strategic channel collaboration as well as financing efforts. This position will offer exposure to high-level strategic decision-making, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the company in the biotech sector.
Business Deal Management:
Support the executives in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic business deals, partnerships, and investments.
Maintain a detailed pipeline of ongoing and potential deals and provide timely updates to senior management team.
*Business Development:
Support in business cases analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Assist the executives in identifying new business opportunities, including licensing agreements, joint ventures, acquisitions, and collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing partners, including biotech companies, academic institutions, regulatory bodies, and investors.
Prepare presentations, financial models, and business cases to support the acquisition and investment decision-making process.
*Project and Portfolio Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business development initiatives and investments.
Assist in tracking the progress of ongoing projects and ensure timely execution of business deals and development initiatives.
Work closely with legal, finance, and research teams to manage and monitor due diligence processes and project milestones.
*Provide the executives with research and analysis on key industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the allergy drug market.
Coordinate and manage key internal and external meetings, presentations, and communications related to business development efforts.
PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology or a related field preferred.
An MBA degree is a plus.
*3+ years of experience in business development, investment management, or strategic consulting in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on allergy treatments or similar therapeutic areas.
~ Familiarity with deal structures, contract negotiations, and business development processes in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
Strong analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in project management
Knowledge of venture capital and private equity in the biotech sector.
Strong network within the biotech, pharma, and healthcare investment communities.
