Physical Education Teacher
Period: 26-05-2026 a 10-06-2026 - Jerez de la Frontera.
Overview: A qualified and experienced Physical Education Teacher for Primary & Secondary students. The teacher will design and deliver curriculum, support the pedagogical team, contribute to assessment and safeguarding, and participate in school life.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum.
* Review lessons and resources regularly to maximise engagement and ensure clear learning opportunities.
* Prepare and set tests, including baseline assessment at the start of the course.
* Ensure learning and achievement of all pupils, maintaining equality of opportunity.
* Maintain high standards of work and conduct.
* Build respectful relationships with pupils, observe professional boundaries, and treat them with dignity.
* Collaborate effectively with learners, parents/carers, staff and external agencies.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
* Prepare teaching materials, programmes and planning.
* Assess, monitor and record pupil progress; use data to set challenging objectives.
* Provide regular feedback, encouraging pupils to reflect on their progress.
* Participate in examinations, assessments and professional development opportunities.
* Create a safe, purposeful and stimulating learning environment; manage behaviour with consistent discipline strategies.
* Act as a positive role model, raising expectations for self‑control and independence.
* Work as a team member, share practice with colleagues, support them and cover absences when required.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers about pupil achievements and wellbeing.
* Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school and partake in playground and lunch duties if necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proficient in English (native speaker).
* Accredited teaching qualification.
* Dynamic and interactive teaching approach.
* Experience delivering lessons in the target language.
* Multicultural teaching experience.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and support for diverse learners (special educational needs, gifted, EAL).
* Understanding of high literacy standards and systematic synthetic phonics.
* Ability to use observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies.
* Maturity to work on an indefinite contract.
* Advanced degree in Teacher Education or equivalent (Master Formación del Profesorado o C.A.P.).
