About the role The Relocation Consultant is responsible for coordinating and delivering relocation services to international assignees and their families.
\n
Acting as the main point of contact throughout the relocation journey, the consultant ensures a smooth transition by providing tailored support in housing, schooling, integration, and settling-in services, in line with client policies and local regulations.
\n
His/her main objective is to ensure companies' transferred employees and their families a smooth settling- in process.
\n
Daily responsibilities .
\n
Manage the full relocation process from pre-arrival to post-arrival, including orientation, home search, school search, settling-in, and departure services.
\n
· Serve as the primary liaison between the assignee, client HR teams, and service providers to ensure good communication among parties, set down-to-earth expectations and to update on any issue.
\n
· Customize relocation support based on the assignee's family situation, preferences, and destination.
\n
· Look for accommodation according to the employee's and their family needs.
\n
Accompany them to visit the different properties, revise the lease agreement and help them with the required documentation.
\n
· Hook-up the utilities such as internet, water, electricity, etc.
\n
· Help them open a bank account.
\n
· Look for suitable childcare and schools in case they need it.
\n
· Advice on which local registrations they might fulfill and help them through the process (such as Town-Hall registration, Medical Card, Public transport pass, driving license, etc.).
\n
· Explain and help them to understand \"how things work\" in Spain regarding bureaucracy, culture, shopping hours, etc.
\n
· Provide local area orientation and practical advice about the host country (e.g., public transport, healthcare, banking, etc.).
\n
· Offer cultural guidance and tips for easier adaptation to the new environment.
\n
· Ensure high-quality service delivery that meets both the client company's mobility policy and the assignee's expectations.
\n
· Maintain regular communication with assignees and proactively address questions or concerns.
\n
· Provide ongoing updates to client HR teams and deliver status reports.
\n
· Agenda and calendar coordination with suppliers.
\n
What are we looking for?
\n
· You are allowed to work in Spain.
\n
· Previous experience in relocation, customer service, or global mobility.
\n
· Fluent in Spanish and English.
\n
Any other language will be very valuable.
\n
· Knowlegde of Spain's local registrations.
\n
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
\n
· Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with international clients.
\n
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems such as Basecamp or Reloonline.
\n
· Bility to perform under pressure.
\n
· Empathy, since you will be in touch with a lot of customers that are experiencing a lifechanging turning point in their lives being relocated to another country.
